Sewing for Refuge offers advanced sewing and workforce-development programming for immigrant, refugee and asylum-seeking garment workers in New York City. Our workshops assess, strengthen and document existing skills while creating pathways to paid employment in the city’s fashion and garment-manufacturing industry.
